Instructions for Use with Horses/Livestock
Based on a 12′ X 12′ stall, we recommend using approximately 5-6 bags of product to start the stall fresh. If you like, bedding can be softened and breakdown hastened by sprinkling lightly with a small amount of water. After softening completely, this amount provides approximately 4 inches of bedding. This depth provides quick absorbency and trapping of wet spots, thus reducing ammonia levels and keeping the moisture from spreading throughout the rest of the bedding in the stall. You will ultimately use less bedding material if you start the stall with this amount and maintain the average depth of 4 inches of fiber.
